At the very start of her healing and spiritual journey, Katrina welcomed Deva, a corgi who became more than a companion...
She was a guide, protector, and source of unconditional love. Through every lesson, challenge, and triumph, Deva remained by Katrina’s side, opening her heart to a profound depth of love, care, and spiritual awareness.From the very beginning, Deva was a calm, intuitive puppy with a natural connection to energy. She loved lying on her back with crystals placed on her belly, as if she instinctively understood the healing properties and vibrations they carried.
On the first day Katrina received Deva, she was delivered straight to the spa where Katrina worked. It was there that Deva’s healing nature revealed itself... if allowed, she would lay on Katrina’s clients as she performed waxing and facial services, offering them a calming, grounding energy. It quickly became apparent that Deva was meant to be in service to humans, bringing peace and comfort to those in need.
Recognizing her gift, Katrina ensured Deva was properly trained as an emotional support dog. From that point on, Deva became a part of Trin Spa Skin & Wellness, attending workdays to provide emotional healing, warmth, and spiritual support to both Katrina and her clients.
As Katrina stepped into her calling to teach spirituality and create the curriculum for the Academy, she found herself navigating the even deeper transformation of Deva’s final days... as sweet Deva was diagnosed with cancer. Deva’s transition became a soul lesson for Katrina in acceptance, grief, and the eternal nature of love and energy.
During these sacred last months with Deva, as Katrina processed the shattering realization of losing Deva’s physical presence, she poured her heart into developing the Academy’s teachings. It was during this time of loss, transition, and rebirth that she felt called to name it Deva Moon, a reflection of their unbreakable bond, divine timing, and the guiding presence of Deva’s spirit.
Katrina, born under a rare and powerful astrological date of a triple Cancer alignment with the Sun, Moon, and Rising, holds an innate bond with the Moon’s rhythms.
